Miracle Amaeze, a light-heavyweight boxer has passed on after he reportedly slumped during a training match in Festac, Lagos on 23rd July 2022.
Mircale who was nicknamed the “Active boxer” AMAEZE (2-0-0-2KOS). He passed away yesterday July 23rd, 2022.
According to reports, Miracle lost consciousness after two knockdown during a sparring session on saturday 23rd July 2022 at the FHA field Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin LGA.
A source who witnessed the incident said,
They were both training when Miracle’s opponent gave him a solid blow that knocked him out. Miracle slumped and he was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
He was given first aid treatment and rushed to hospital but could not pull through and was confirmed dead in the evening.
Amaeze had a perfect 2-0 record in his professional career and was tipped for boxing greatness by many in Nigeria.
Both of his fights finished with first-round knockouts in his home town, including the second just three weeks ago on July 1 2022.
It was also gathered that he just got a UK visa to pursue his boxing career before the unfortunate incident happened.”
