As the Festive, yuletide season draws near, security is paramount in every community.
In this regards, the Executive Chairman Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh assembled all heads and assistant head of units of security organization in Amuwo-Odofin Local Govt. for a briefing in preparedness.
Addressing the assembly he said,
“The security of lives and property in this season is of Paramount importance to this administration. Therefore I want you and your men to be on top of your game. More vigilance and intelligence gathering is of importance. I also want you to also be civil at the course of discharging your duties”.
The LG Chairman assured the organizations that the government will also do its best in ensuring that appropriate welfare packages will be made available to motivate its men on duty.
The coordinator LNSC in Amuwo-Odofin LG, Chief Oboh assured the Mayor that they will do their best in making sure that sinister agenda by mischievous people will not be tolerated in the local government.
He also thanked the Executive Chairman for the proposed welfare package which will go a long way to boost the morale of the personnel.
