July 26th 2020 was not the usual Sunday in the Mile2- Ilasa axis has two people have been feared dead in a collision accident.
According to news reports, two passengers were reported to have died while three other passengers including the bus driver were rescued with injuries at the scene of an accident at Ilasamaja along Mile 2 area of Lagos.
Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osayintolu,General Manager of Lagos Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA revealed that that upon arrival at the scene of the accident, it was discovered that a truck with registration number SGM 715 XA loaded with a 20ft container collided into a commercial bus stationed at Ilasa under bridge which was discharging some of its passengers.
He said those sustained various degree of injuries have been transferred to Isolo General Hospital by LASEMA’s Responder.
Dr. Oke-Osayintolu said another three passengers escaped unhurt. He said the agency’s Super Metro and forklift are on ground to recover the fallen truck.
