It has been confirmed by the Lagos State Ministry of Health of the first case of COVID-19 in Lagos state, Nigeria and has been reported to the Federal Ministry of Health.
The case, which was confirmed on the 27th of February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria since the outbreak in China in January 2020.

The Rotatry club of Lagos West , D991 Nigeria made the faces of staffs and patients of The Maternal and Child Centre in Amuwo Odofin filled with smiles. The club donated a total of three Photo therapy Machines to the Maternal and Child Centre, First Gate, Festac Town.
Some Festac Town based fitness instructors have recommended body building and regular exercise for men to improve on their virility and wellness.
The recommendations came from Mr Alfred Nkang and Mr Onyekachi Iroh, both fitness instructors, and a body builder, Chukwuemeka Ekeugo, all workers with the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) Sports Field, Festac Town, in Lagos.
