Residents of Satellite Town in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area were thrown into shock following the killing of a man in what is suspected to be a cult-related incident.


The Lagos State Government has cautioned residents of Amuwo-Odofin and other parts of the state against assuming or recognizing chieftaincy titles that have not been officially approved, warning that such actions are illegal and could lead to prosecution.


After years of frustration, failed suspensions, traffic congestion and unsafe driving conditions, residents and commuters in Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin, may finally be heading for relief as plans have been concluded for the rehabilitation of the 2nd Avenue and 7th Avenue road network.
